WattWise is a project of ArforEarth. This page describes the current public application’s data handling.

Building inputs and imported files

The planner processes building information, utility CSV files and project JSON files in your browser. The application does not upload these files or their contents to a database. Imported values are reviewed before they are applied.

Saved scenarios

Current inputs and saved scenarios are stored in your browser’s localStorage for this site. They are not automatically shared with other visitors or synchronized across devices. Anyone using the same browser profile may see them. Export a project file for backup. Clear this site’s browser data to remove all local records, or delete individual saved scenarios in the planner.

Decision-guide questions

The public decision guide uses local rules and computed results. It does not send questions or building information to an AI provider. Paid AI calls are disabled.

Hosting and fonts

Hosting providers may process routine connection data such as IP addresses and requested URLs to deliver and secure the site. Google Fonts supplies the web fonts, so loading the page may make requests to Google’s font servers. WattWise does not add advertising trackers or an analytics SDK in this release.
